Website grader screenshot.Website Grader is a free SEO tool that measures the marketing effectiveness of a website. It provides a score that incorporates things like website traffic, SEO, social popularity and other technical factors. It also provides some basic advice on how your website can be improved from a marketing perspective.

I found Website Grader to be a very accurate and useful tool in cleaning up & optimizing my blog for search engines. Though I was pretty disappointed with my grade, I now know what I need to work on & can start asap.

The detailed report that you get is broken down into the following sections: On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Blogosphere, Social Mediasphere, Converting Qualified Visitors to Leads & Competitive Intelligence.

If you have a fairly new blog, like myself, your grade will not be very impressive since you probably have no pagerank, traffic rank, inbound links, etc. For those who have been blogging for awhile, this tool will be more useful & extremely beneficial to you.

Of course I have to give a big thanks to Da Vinci from DavincisBlogLog.com, for telling me about this great tool!

    Yes. Yes. This has been posted all over the place. It’s a great little tool – if you know what you are doing with SEO and want data and confirmation.

    I’d also like to see a list of firms that will actually give you some free website SEO consulting with a live SEO consultant. I think there are tons of people who will look at that report and not know what to do at all. Those people need free website seo for their url so they know what daily activities are needed.

    I know individuals don’t give sufficient idea into the SEO value of their blogs, i think it’s because blogs are so good at producing traffic quickly that many people don’t even take the time to tweak them to drive even more traffic.

    Bear in mind that a small website MAY get a lot less visitors than a large one and STILL have a greater websitegrader score because what this site mainly measures is the POTENTIAL for visibility in search engines. A larger website may indeed get a lot more visitors, but be built in such a way that crawlers will have a hard time indexing it.
