It has been working great in every way. The only drawback of skype may be that it requires a good computer and a good internet connection for it to work perfectly. If you got charged it is because you called to a landline. It is free until you call from PC to Phone. That is of course with any other product right now. Also if you call your service number, that is landline to PC so that is also a charge.
