The Cool Tools Lineup Has Been Launched! [Update]

Today is just a quick update to let everyone know that I’ve added a new page to this blog called “Cool Tools Lineup”. As you can see, it’s listed on the navigation menu above next to the “Home” link.

I’m still working on it & will be constantly adding new tools to it. I really want to do this so that social media users can have a handy list of tools that they can resort to whenever needed.

Of course, I can’t list every social web tool on the Web since there are so many of them. So, I will be posting tools that are personal favorites & tools that I feel would be most beneficial to social media uses.

Feel free to contact me with tools that you feel should be added, as well as any incorrect/broken links. I appreciate the feedback & support from everyone so, this is one way of me giving back to you! Also, you can subscribe to the list (a separate RSS feed from the blog), if you’d like, for updates.

As a preview, here’s a few tools that I just added today.

• LuckyCal
  A web-based calendar application that allows users to keep up with their friends & find events that interest them in their area; simply import your friend lists from Google, Facebook, etc & then choose which ones you’d like to include in your calendar updates.
• OOdesk
  Reproduce the appearance & functionality of your own computer with all interactive functions & community tools of Web 2.0; access your workspace anytime, configure it, customize it & share it from any computer, PDA, phone connected to the network.
• Vanishd (This one had me laughing hard because of the description for it.)
  Make your co-workers, bosses, friends, and family think you’re working; surf the web in privacy. Cover any web page with a fake work document or another web page and peek through a hole to surf without anyone seeing.
