ShoutEm | Mobile Social Networking Platform [Review]

ShoutEm - The world's simplest Mobile App Maker.Update: ShoutEm is now a site for creating mobile apps. You can set up and test your mobile app for free – no credit card required.

The mobile web has really come a long way. Now, you can have your own mobile social network. I haven’t tried this one out yet, but it seems like a really great tool to use. The Android client demo is available for download so be sure to try it out!

In their own words:

ShoutEm is platform on which you can easily start mobile social networking service. Idea is to provide tools and services so that service can be started with minimized risks and investments. It also helps customer to stay focused on branding, promoting and building up a community and not to worry about technical details, scalability and reliability. We like to call this concept ‘Ning for mobile social networks’.”

With ShoutEm you can create a custom design & well as choose from other additional features.

ShoutEm has a free version which allows you to have a sub domain on shoutem.com & they use their own ads on your site. This is probably good if you just want to test out the waters.

The small business & business with service level agreement packages allow you more flexibility but also costs you; unfortunately, the prices are not listed on the site right now.

I think a mobile social network is a really clever idea & a smart move for all businesses big & small. If you’re in the market for one, definitely check out ShoutEm.

Social media and social networking is really awesome. The coolest part is now that social networking can be accessed by even mobile phones. Since most of the people in social networking carry a mobile phone it is very easy to stay in touch with the networking site. With Shout’em now I can have much more freedom with my mobile phone for social networking. Awesome work. Thanks

The notion of Shout’em is interesting. Although, I wonder how many companies are actually looking to create their own mobile social networks?

Thanks for writing about this. There’s a heap of important tech information on the internet. You’ve got a lot of that info here on your website. I’m impressed – I try to keep a couple blogs somewhat ongoing, but it’s a struggle sometimes. You’ve done a solid job with this one. How do you do it?
