Search for People by Area Code with MyLife

How do you search for people that you want or need to find? Maybe you need to find a long-lost friend, relative, or ex, or maybe you may want to look for some of your biological family members. Whoever you may be looking for, I’m sure it’s frustrating to search for hours and not be able to find them. Right? Trust me, I can relate to that!

One of the best online tools I’ve found for this is MyLife. You may know MyLife as a social network that lets you connect with people from your present and past. However, they have a free tool that lets you search for people by area code, and you can also search for people from your past and see who’s searching for you online.

Searching by Area Code

Hopefully you know the area code of the person that you’re looking for. The are codes are separated by their starting numbers – 200, 300, 400, etc. Just clicking on an area code will bring up phone numbers starting with the area code. This is the tedious part because you’ll have to look through a bunch of numbers to find the one you’re looking for.

From there, you’ll see a list of people with phone numbers that match the sequence. I’m not sure how this works, but it seems as though only people with MyLife accounts are listed. I say this because there’s no way that only 4 people have a phone number with the sequence that I picked. At any rate, this could search as a really useful tool depending on your circumstance.

Find Anyone From Your Past

I love that you can find anyone from your past such as classmates, friends, family, etc., just by entering their first name, last name, age, and last known location. MyLife is pretty cool because you it searches through all of the top social networks to find people for you.

In the results you can see details for each person, along with their age, places lived, relatives, schools. You can also view their profiles and send them an email.

See Who’s Searching For You

Lastly, you can see who has been searching for you on MyLife. This is another cool feature because you can see if maybe a long-lost friend, relative, or family member has been trying to find you. You can also see if you have any stalkers, or people just trying to be nosey and see your contact information. It’s really up to you how you use this feature.

Just enter your name, age, and zip code, gender, maiden name (if applicable), email address, and birthday. You’ll need to have a MyLifea account to use this, which is why you’ll need to enter your email address. From there you’ll instantly see your results. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

Final Thoughts

MyLife is an all-around people search tool. You can search by area code or by name, age and last known location. The search for people by area code feature is unique and is sure to come in handy for you at one time or another.
