For those that don’t know, recently Six Apart purchased the micro-blogging site Pownce & then shut it down. For many it was a shock & others (including myself) were not very surprised due to the lack of activity there. For those of you that also don’t know, Rejaw is a fantastic micro-blogging site with a lot of the same features as Pownce, plus a few extra. Currently, the team over at Rejaw is working on Pownce import support to make it even easier for Pownce refugees to make the switch & have a new place to call home.
Personally, being an avid Rejaw user & not so avid Pownce user, I wanted to share with you the reasons Why You Should Pownce on Rejaw. For all you Pownce refugees looking for a new micro-blogging tool, I really do encourage you to check out Rejaw. I have been an active user there every since Rejaw surfaced this past summer & I haven’t stopped shouting (Rejaw’s equivalent to tweeting) since!
If you do decide to join, please feel free to follow me here. If you’re looking to see the benefits of joining us over at Rejaw, then I suggest you check out Rahsheen’s very informative post on Why You Should Pownce on Rejaw. He makes some very excellent points; his post is very clear & to the point.
I do hope to see you over a Rejaw if you’re not already. If you are currently a member there, please feel free to share your experience in the comments. I would love to hear what others have to say about it.

Excellent. I was also shocked when I saw the news. No news on how much they were acquired for?
