MyLife.com – An All-in-One App for Searching and Connecting with Others
If you’re familiar with MyLife.com, you know that their website is useful for searching and connection with others. You can find personal and work information for just about anyone with a Web presence; plus you can see who has been searching for you as well. MyLife.com is also great for finding lost relatives and biological family members as well as friends, family members and co-workers. With over 700 million adult profiles, it’s really a one-stop place for finding just about anyone.
“MyLife.com is the leading Personal Relationship Manager, providing a revolutionary social communications platform connecting 60 million members, and growing. You can get all your social network updates and email messages, all in one place. And you can make new personal and work connections across 700+ million profiles, plus see Who’s Searching for You.”
With the MyLife.com iOS app, you can even search for people from your mobile device and while on-the-go. Not only that, but you can manage your connect and keep up with your social networking accounts all in the same place. All you have to do is connect your Facebook, Twitter and/or LinkedIn accounts to the app and you’ll be reading updates from your friends and be able to post status updates to your account.
Note: Keep in mind that there is limited access for free members. You must subscribe to view actual profiles and information about the people you search for.
- $15.99 for 1 month
- $59.99 for 6 months
Searching from the app is very simple. You’ll need to enter the First Name, Last Name, Approx Age, State (can select all or specific state), City (optional) and reason for searching. I did a test search for my husband and found 3 profiles that were all a match to him. However, I was unable to see any further with my free account. Instead, I was prompted to subscribe to the 1-month or 6-month plan.
Even though this is pretty frustrating, I can understand that this does help to keep your information safe. Most spammers and scammers won’t be willing to pay for an actual subscription to the service. Therefore, your information won’t get into the wrong hands.
Even if you want to stick with a free account, MyLife.com is still great for quickly checking your social networking feeds on-the-go and it’s really easy to update your status. I just wish that you could do more with a free account when it comes to the people search.
