A highlighter for the Web. Simply add the bookmarklet to your bookmarks toolbar or menu & use it whenever you want to highlight something on a webpage. Only words with Firefox, Opera, Google Chome & Safari. The downside is that the highlight is not saved to the actual webpage, it saved on it’s own page on Markkit.

Firefox has many add-ons with which you can really do such cool things, i have been using firebug for it, its really useful when you are highlighting some important lines or codes of languages.
Oh wow! What an awesome tool! I love it! Thanks for sharing this!
that sounds really cool

This is exactly what I need. Simple and very useful!
Thanks a lot!
That looks pretty cool. Does it just highlight the text on the page or does it save the text also?
Thanks for the cool stuff.
Unfortunately you cannot save the highlighted text. I’d recommend Diigo for that (http://diigo.com).
That’s a great little tool. I’ve been looking for a good little app that does this very thing. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I´ve never read something about this tool. But it sounds really nice,
I think, I´ll check it.
Thanks for the hint.

It would be quite useful if firefox intriduces a highlighter to there toolbar…and hopefully the highlight can remain in memory.
