Love At First Tweet With Tweetvisor [Review]
Recently I did a review on PeopleBrowsr & I had fallen in love with their web application, focused mainly on Twitter. It wasn’t until a few months later that I started not to love it so much due to the fact that it became 10 times more complicated with all their newly added features. Plus, the site had slowed down tremendously. Since then I started using TweetDeck & have since become the newest member of the TweetDeck anonymous group. With that being said, I dare say I’ve now found another Twitter interface that I love even more than TweetDeck.

Tweetvisor is my new favorite web-based Twitter interface; it is very unique, feature rich & definitely the best web-based Twitter application I’ve come across. To start out, it allows you to choose between the Tweetvisor template (which is lighter in color) or the deck template (which is darker in color). Both templates have their own unique setup. There are three columns which show your friends timeline, replies, direct messages and hot topic (depending on which template you use) all at once – which by the way looks really nice on a large monitor.

Tweetvisor has numerous features, all of which are very useful. There’s the option to retweet, which is included in the friends timeline & replies column; we all know how much this can come in handy. A real biggie, that I know many people will love, is the option to show conversations in the friends timeline and the ability to see the original tweet that a reply is directed at in the @replies column. This means less work for you; no more searching or trying to figure out what someone is replying to.

Tweetvisor includes Twtask (which allows you to create tasks via Twitter & manage them at Twtask.com), TweetShrink (which allows you to shrink your text to fit the 14o character limit) & easy insertion of popular JOBS tags. In addition to all of these wonderful features you can also: monitor a hot topic, create groups, search, save a search, subscribe to a search, favorite a search & more. In my opinion, Tweetvisor could easily become a huge competitor for TweetDeck. I’m not sure what they have in store but I’m very anxious and looking forward to future updates & added features.

I can definitely see myself becoming a regular and even addicted user of Tweetvisor. How about you? Do you share my love for Tweetvisor? Please share.
