Connect With Your Contacts Across The Web With MyBlogLog's New Connector Feature [Review]

MyBlogLog just added a new feature that makes it even easier to connect with all your contacts at Twitter, Flickr, Del.icio.us, Pownce, Digg, Last.fm & YouTube.

I have yet to figure out how to actually get to Connector from your MyBlogLog account, so for now all I can give you is the direct link, http://www.mybloglog.com/user/connector/.

I feel that the Connector can be used in a bad & good way. I think it’s bad if you are looking for privacy & don’t want random friend add requests from people you don’t know too well. On the other hand, it can be a really great way to connect with you contacts & build a stronger Web relationship.

In their own words:

“Connector helps you fill in the connection gaps with your friends across the services you use. If you’re friends on MyBlogLog, you probably should be friends on the other services you use. This will help you do just that. Click a green plus icon () to connect to a friend at a service. If you want to open all connections with a friend, click a green arrow icon () and multiple windows will open with your friend’s profiles.”

As a blogger, I feel this is a great way to stay in touch with contacts & make new networking connections. Personally, I don’t use MyBlogLog to contact or stay in touch with people, so having a convenient way to view & add my contacts on other sites is very appealing to me.

At any rate, if you have an account on MyBlogLog & all of a sudden start to receive lots of friend requests on Twitter, Flickr, Del.icio.us, Pownce, Digg, Last.fm or YouTube, you can probably thank the Connector for that.
