Add Me Button | Show Off Where You Live On The Web [Review]

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the website Retaggr, I’ve covered it here a few time actually (first time, second time). Well today, they’ve introduced a new, useful little tool that they describe as “the universal button to show where you live on the web,” called the Add Me Button.

Features:

  • A Portal to All Your Profiles (view sample)
  • Easy url: http://clicktoadd.me/yourname
  • 170+ Sites Supported
  • 1-Click Connect where Possible
  • For Websites, Blogs & MySpace
  • Removes Clutter

This is really a great tool for all you social media junkies out there (including myself). It can really be a pain to have to list every single site you’re on, to display on every single site you’re on. This button is connected to your Retaggr account so if you don’t have an account with them, you will be prompted to sign up for one. Note: Make sure you are logged into your account before going here to set up your button.

Once you setup your Retaggr account (or if you already have an account setup there) this button is so easy to get; it took me one click & two selections to get mine.

The only thing I did have an issue with was getting the actual button image to show up. For some reason, the src in the code is not pointing to the correct image. I’m not sure how many of you know anything about html but, you will need to replace the src=”http://content.retaggr.com/static/addme.gifundefined” in your code with src=”http://content.retaggr.com/static/addme.gif”. Besides that, you should be fine. I’m sure they’ve probably fixed the issue by now but just in case, beware!

Add Me

This button will work on most social networks as long as they allow you to add custom html to your profiles. I don’t know about you but I think it’s definitely worth me taking a few minutes out of my day to go add this to all of my profiles & delete all those links! I only wish that we could possibly customize the way our button looks or at least have different options to choose from.

So, what do you think of this new Retaggr addition?

Is it worth your time? Will you use it?
