Marketing Made Easy With Retaggr | Are U Taking Advantage? [Review]

Retaggr affiliations, widgets, profiles.Earlier today I took the time out to update my Retaggr card (for the first time in 4 months) after reading about their latest feature. They’ve now added the ability to add professional affiliations to your Retaggr card, which is another great way to market yourself and/or your companies & websites online.

This new feature on Retaggr allows you to add a logo along with the name & url of affiliations that you are a member of, are associated with, or are the owner of. As you can see from my Retaggr card, each logo fits nicely in a row & when clicked will go to the url specified.

Retaggr in general is just a great tool & in my opinion a must have for anyone in the social world such as bloggers, website owners, online business owners, etc. Are you taking advantage of Retaggr because if you aren’t, you really should be!

I’m not going to go into too much detail about Retaggr since I already wrote about it here but, I just wanted to point out some of the top reasons why you should be using this tool.

  • Retaggr company, blog, location screenshot.Your company name & link is show. If there is information about your company on LinkedIn, a small icon will display next to your company name (as seen to the right) showing the world that your company is official on LinkedIn.
  • Your blog name, link & recent posts are shown. Since the Retaggr card is a widget, there is a lot of interactivity built into it. When someone clicks on your recent posts, it opens up right on your Retaggr card.
  • Just by clicking on an icon displayed under your picture anyone can see your “about me” info & they can contact you by email or Digsby IM (if you have added it). No need to leave the page to contact you, it’s all done inside your Retaggr card. As you can see below, your Digsby IM widget opens up right on your card, allowing people to chat with you whenever you are online.
  • Retaggr Digsby IM widget.

  • You can display your latest Twitter status on the front of your card. Clicking on your latest Twitter status message will display your 20 most recent tweets, which of course display right on your Retaggr card (as seen below).
  • Retaggr Twitter recent tweets.

  • Retaggr can also serve as a social aggregator. You can add all of your social profiles to your account so that they are displayed on your card, allowing people to connect with you all over the Web.
  • Lastly, Retaggr has the ability to show all types widgets on your card. For example, the Digsby IM I mentioned above is a widget that must add to your Retaggr card. If you add your account info for certain sites like Del.icio.us, Brightkite, FriendFeed, Jaiku, Last.fm, etc, a widget will automatically be inserted & listed on your card. Each widgets shows your latest activity such as bookmarks, status updates, photos latest songs, etc depending on the site. You can also add your own widgets from various other places online. Below you can see how a Flickr widget would appear.

As you can see, Retaggr has so many uses that it’s obviously a social media must-have. Plus the fact that you can embed it in most sites & there’s even an email signature tag that you can grab, makes it even better. So I hope you won’t miss out on this easy & fun way to market yourself, be sure to sign up now!
