Post content to 14 social services from within Profilactic
Profilactic has partnered with those handsome lads at Ping.fm to allow members to post content to 14 social services from within the cozy confines of Profilactic.com.
The list of services currently supported are: Bebo, Blogger, Facebook, Hi5, Jaiku, LinkedIn, LiveJournal, Mashable, MySpace, Plurk, Pownce, Tumblr, Twitter and Xanga.
What makes Ping.fm super cool is that you can post the same message to multiple services at once. So if you want your Twitter followers and your Facebook friends and your LinkedIn connections to know that you’re “sitting in my car at the Atlantic Ocean with my napping son reading Harvard Business Review and eating cotton candy,” you can do it with the new “Post something” tool powered by Ping.fm.
Ping.fm is still in private beta; however, they have given Profilactic 1,000 beta codes to get you started. Head over to http://ping.fm/ and enter the beta code “profilactic.”
After you get signed up and add your services, head over to your Profilactic lifestream page and start posting.
You can also check out this video walk-thru to see the new feature in action: http://tinyurl.com/6znfdp

Spammers are already destroying & misusing Ping.fm… Sadly, it’s really getting out of hand. Even non-spammers are misusing it to a certain extent.
